Day 1


Arrival and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day to acclimatize to the altitude.
Day 2

Uros Floating Island

AM. Breakfast, transfer to the dock to board the boat and visit the floating Uros Island and island inhabitants who have built their boats with Totora, a local aquatic plant. Locals use Totora to build their houses, rafts and the plant also provides food. We will witness their customs, crafts, museum, flora and fauna.
Day 3


AM. Breakfast. Guided tour to the Pre -Inca cemetery of Sillustani on Lake Umayo, where the stony cylinders form a cylindrical necropolis where great dignitaries of the Tiahuanaco culture were buried. Sillustani was considered a sacred place. Vestiges of ceramics and pre -Inca constructions are found on the road that leads to the mausoleums that are erected on top of the peninsula buildings. Here the Tiwanaku culture developed. It is from 1200 AD that the Kolla culture was established. In Sillustani is where the most important men in the Kolla were buried. Return to hotel.
